Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Encuentro Clientes (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use encuentroclientes.com and related portal experiences (the “Service”).
We provide B2B software that helps companies find and review potential business prospects. If you have questions, contact maxim@maxautomations.net.
2. Information we collect
Account & profile data
When you sign up or sign in (email/password or Google), we collect identifiers such as name, email address, company website or name, password credentials (hashed by our auth provider), and account preferences. Survey answers about what you sell, ideal customers, geography, and deal context are used to configure matching.
Usage & technical data
We collect logs and device information typical of web apps (IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and diagnostic events) to operate security, performance, and support.
Lead & prospect data
To deliver the Service we process business contact and company information that may include names, titles, company names, websites, LinkedIn or other public profile URLs, emails, phone numbers when available, public posts or hiring/news signals, and AI-generated fit notes or openers. This information is typically sourced from public web sources and licensed data providers—not from your private contacts—unless you explicitly upload or connect additional data.
Communications
If you email support or receive product emails (trial status, lead-ready notices), we process the content needed to respond and deliver those messages.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service (matching, portal, drafts, exports)
- Create and administer your account and workspace memberships
- Communicate about setup, leads, billing, and material product changes
- Prevent abuse, debug issues, and comply with legal obligations
- Optionally publish anonymized or public-signal insights that do not identify you as a customer without permission
We do not sell your account personal data. Lead lists in your portal are for your internal go-to-market use under our Terms of Service.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable)
Depending on your location, we process personal data under: performance of a contract (providing the Service you request); legitimate interests (securing the Service, improving matching quality, B2B product analytics); consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies or marketing); and legal obligation when we must retain or disclose information.
5. Sharing
We share information with:
- Processors that host auth, databases, email delivery, analytics, and enrichment (bound by contracts to process data on our instructions)
- Workspace teammates you invite to your client portal
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
6. International transfers
We and our processors may process data in the EU, UK, US, or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers of personal data from the EEA/UK.
7. Retention
We keep account and lead data while your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal compliance, then delete or anonymize it according to our retention practices. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor security practices) to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong password and protect your login.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law (including GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data we hold about you as an account holder, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email maxim@maxautomations.net. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a prospect who appears in a customer’s lead list and believe the information is inaccurate, contact us and we will review the request with the relevant customer where appropriate.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication and session security. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
